Aarushi Zarthoshtimanesh (she/her, b. 2000) is an Indian-born artist, performer and writer of Persian heritage, currently living in Mumbai. 

Beginning the Fine Arts Extension Degree at Goldsmith's in London 2018-20, Aarushi furthered her formal studies with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Arts from the University of New South Wales, Sydney in 2024. As the youngest participant chosen to be part of the 'Think Art Curatorial Course' at the Kochi Biennial in India, Aarushi continued to receive opportunities for her artistic education such as the High School Summer Art Intensive workshop at the New New York University’s Steinhardt College of Arts in 2017. Aarushi has shown in notable galleries including Firstdraft, Comber St. Gallery, Cement Fondu Gallery and Kudos Gallery all based in Sydney, Australia. Previously she’s shown internationally  at Goldsmiths University and NYU. Notable achievements include being a finalist in the Jenny Birt Award for Painting in 2022 and 2023, and also being chosen for the Firstdraft Writers’ Program in 2023. The ‘Play, Process, Experiment’ workshop and performers’ showcase at the PACT Centre for Emerging Artists in Sydney, brought her the opportunity to be mentored under renowned performers like Vicky Van Hout and Sēini Taumoepeau to name a few. Furthermore, Aarushi is also an accomplished art writer and poet, having been published in the Meniscus Literary Journal, UNSW Unsweetened magazine, Tharunka Magazine, and the Gallyry website, to name a few publications. In her written work she often weaves poetry, essays, articles, art reviews and scripts for short films.
